The TRANCE ARC Giveaway is Here!

GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!

Real life has been a little exhausting/hectic lately, so my apologies in taking so long to get this up. But, as previously announced in a few places, I have in my hands a couple of TRANCE ARC's, and they are yours for the taking!

I'm giving away three signed ARC's, as well as a TRANCE cover flat, so you have the text and the pretty!

Photobucket

Such a lovely match.

So how do you enter? Easy. The MetaWars series is about superheroes, right? So to enter this giveaway, leave a comment on this post telling me the name of your favorite superhero. It can be from film, comics, television, etc... It could be Peter from the TV show "Heroes." It could be Hit Girl from the movie "Kick Ass." It could be Dean Cain's version of Superman, or the Golden Age version of the Flash.

Tell me who!

The giveaway is open until September 30th, and I'll use a randomizer to select three winners. Winners will be announced here the first of October. So spread the word! Be the one of the first folks to get a sneak peek at TRANCE before it releases October 25th!

Ready?

Go!

visual verification is not working! What do I do?! no!!!!!! Ok. Favorite superhero - Wonder Woman. yes. The tv show Wonder Woman. She was hot and she kicked ass. That is all I require in a super hero. No whiney emo "my parents are dead" wwaaaa!!!! No. Look good and kick ass.

Ooh pretty! I so can't wait to read this one!

My fave hero? Hmm...I kinda liked Catwoman--Michelle Phiefer style to be precise! Loved her role! Thought she was awesome! Catwoman is sort of a heroine as well when you look at her in the big picture.

My other fave then goes to The Huntress! Or Batman and Catwoman's daughter from the TV show that should've lasted Birds of Prey! Another awesome heroine!

For "hero" purposes I guess it would be Batman! Loved Michael Keaton's role best!

Loved Rogue and Gambit from the x-men comics not the movies.

Does Buffy Summers count as a superhero? Hmm, I guess. Anyways, she popularized the 'women can stand up for themselves' which I adore.

I always wanted to be just like AquaMan when I was a kid. Was there ever an AquaGirl, because I would want to be HER now.

Batman of course.

I've always loved the Bowler and Invisible Boy from Mystery Men. That movie is the greatest. I still have it on VHS! Lol. I can't wait for Trance. :)

Thor.

Mainly because of Chris Hemsworth.

My favourite superhero is Mysterion, aka South Park's Kenny's alter ego. Longtime fans of the show will know the running gag of Kenny dying, but then appearing in the next episode as if nothing happened. Via Mysterion, we learn Kenny's origin story...

Remy Le Beau, Gambit is awesome!

Has to be Anita Blake from the Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton because she's super down-to-earth and NOBODY is more hardcore or badass. ;)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She not only had a fashion sense while slaying her opponents, but she also had a sassy comebacks while she was doing her job. Example of a strong contemporary woman.

My favorite superhero has always been Daredevil. I just liked that a blind man could be a superhero, I thought that was awesome.

So hard to pick just one but I do love Catwoman. She is bad-ass. Though now I that I think about it... Xena is also pretty great! Love from Australia!

I'd say Batman, but while he's badass, no superpowers to speak of, lol. So I'm gonna say Sylar from Heroes. He was a hero... for a little while, right? :D

I think I would have to go with the Rebecca Romijn version of Mystique from X-Men. I always thought that she had an awesome power and kicked ass to boot!

Well...there might be some argument as whether or not he's really a superhero...more of an antihero but I'll stick by him, John Constantine from Hellblazer. Come ON he can send bad guys to HELL for pete sake.

I would have to say my my favorite would be Lt. Colonel Sheppard and his team on Stargate Atlantis!

My favorite superhero is Rogue from the X-Men comics and cartoon (definitely not the lame ass Anna Paquin Rogue from the movies). She's totally badass and has an attitude that makes you definitely not want to mess with her.

Melissa (My World...in words and pages) said...

I think I'll go with.... Hancock. It's so hard to pick as there are so many great picks. :) But I think Hancock deserves a mention as he is fun and makes a huge turn around. ;)

Thank you for the chance to win an arc. And best wishes to you!

Squeaking in before the deadline! Lately I've been in a maudlin kind of mood, so my superhero though not so uncommon, would be my super mom for reasons only my heart knows.I know she must be enjoying her set of wings up above.

Buffy!! Hands down... She is bad-ass! Thanks for the giveaway!

Growing up, my favorite x-men character was jubilee, followed by Storm. I guess I just loved the minority women :) (as a small asian girl, I had to hold onto whatever I could find :)
